Introduction Advantages Materials Processes

Currently two types of ComPRIS fabrication are possible:

Variant 1. The pressure bag ComPRIS process: When employing a bagging system similar to VARTM processes, air is pushed out of the fabric by the flow of the resin, and is voided to a trap. Variant 2. The BPM ComPRIS process: A bladder of buffer material (BPM) that allows air to be compressed in one or more interior cavities is also be used in non-bagged systems to void air from a part being infused with resin.(PC users can watch the animation by click the image on the right.
